Our Mission
Valparaiso Christian Academy's mission is to work cooperatively with families of young children in an effort to support the family unit and to provide appropriate guidance for their child's (children’s) development in all areas. Setting forth the highest academic standards, and doing so to the best of our professionally trained abilities, while utilizing Christian principles to help shape the character and moral conscious of each individual child.
Educational Philosophy
Exposing children to the ways of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is a significant part of our school's mission. The values that we instill in the children are ones that are a direct reflection of God himself. We place a strong emphasis on Godly character building in an enriching, developmentally appropriate, safe & warm educational setting.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it". Hence, if we train our children properly, those values that we instill within them will be carried on as they grow into adulthood. This is what we recognize as shaping a child's “moral conscience”. This truth is the corner stone of our school’s educational philosophy and a concept that we fully adhere to at our early learning ministry.
As we teach according to God's standards of building strong Christian character, as well as the highest early learning academic standards, we do so to the best of our professionally trained abilities using our God-given talents. We settle for nothing less when it comes to the education and development of young children, in order to ensure their readiness for academic and individual personal challenges once they enter Kindergarten.
